Hello from the Charles R. Drew Middle School Counseling Office!

My name is Richard Mack and I am the 7th Grade School Counselor at Drew. I grew up on a farm in Wisconsin as part of a family of seven siblings so one of my favorite things is being around lots of people! I really enjoy living in Los Angeles and experiencing all that it has to offer, especially the beach!

As a school counselor, I support all students and families in the areas of academics, social-emotional learning, and college and career readiness. Middle school is a time of great change and I find meaning in listening to students’ stories and plans for the future.
